I've loved perfumes since I was a little girl and would smell the bottles on my mom and grandmother's dressers. I wear perfume every day, and sometimes even will spritz some on in the evening because I love always smelling beautiful! I'm often asked what I am wearing so wanted to share my favorite scents here + my favorite affordable subscription for trying new designer scents.
My 5 Favorite Perfumes
Burberry Brit Sheer: This is my most worn fragrance. It is light enough for every day and sexy enough for a date. With floral notes and citrus undertones, it is delightful. I think it is perfect for just about anyone.
Versace Bright Crystal: This is like the older sister to Burberry Brit Sheer. It is a little heavier, but in the same family of floral notes with citrus undertones. I love it and just bought my second bottle.
Gucci Guilty: This is my favorite perfume for fall/winter or for going out. It is a rich, heavier scent that always get compliments. I like it so much that I have both a large bottle for my home and a travel bottle that I keep in my travel essentials pack.
ILYSB by Dime Beauty: For a light perfume, my go to is ILYSB by Dime. It is a totally different scent with gardenia and sandalwood notes. This is also perfect for someone who sometimes has allergies/reactions to perfumes, as Dime is formulated using only the cleanest ingredients. Use code TURNER20 to save 20% off anything on Dime's site, including the Super Perfume Bundle.
Amazing Grace: This Philosophy perfume is wildly popular, and it's totally understandable! I just started wearing it this year and love that it is a perfect everyday scent. It has bergamot and musk notes that works with pretty much everything. It's also really affordable.
My Favorite Perfume Subscription
While the above five scents are what I wear most often, I wear a lot of other scents too thanks to Scentbox. Scentbox is a subscription service that allows you to choose from 850+ designer fragrances delivered in a perfect travel sized bottle every month. To say I am obsessed with it is not an understatement.
It is without question my favorite monthly delivery, and I have discovered so many new perfumes because of it (including several on this list). You can choose what scent you get (so you could add each of the above fragrances if you wanted!) and if you don't like a scent, they offer free exchanges. If you don't know what to pick, they will make recommendations.
Each bottle is a month's supply (roughly 100-120 sprays per bottle). Scentbox is truly a fantastic service because you are getting designer scents at a fraction of retail.
I hope this helps you discover some new perfumes! Want more suggestions? Check out my friend Merrick's list of her favorite fragrances.
