If you are looking to try a new craft or simply get projects and supplies for a craft you already love, Annie’s Craft Clubs might be perfect for you. Affiliate links used in this post.
I just discovered Annie’s Craft Kits through their Creative Girls Club, which is currently offering 80% off the first month for all new members. We signed up for Adeline and LOVED it.
As I have mentioned before, with the Creative Girls Club, you’ll receive two craft kits for your daughter and only pay $1.99 each + shipping. The whole things ships for less than $10. The crafts were delightful and age appropriate for ages 7-13. If you have a little crafter in that age range, I would definitely encourage you checking out this offer before it expires. It’s an incredible deal!
It turns out Annie’s has a whole host of clubs and right now all the other kits are 50% off! I bought several kits so I could check them out. Here are my thoughts on the ones we received + the link for 50% off in case you want to order one. I will say that after I ordered two, I started getting promo emails to try the other kits for super cheap (like free + shipping or $80% off + free shipping). Therefore, I would recommend signing up for the creative girls kit + another and see if the same happens for you.)
If you decide to not continuing to subscribe, simply send an email to cancel your subscription. Also, if you don’t like a kit, you can send it back for a refund.
Annie’s Craft Kits for 50% off
The following kit clubs are all 50% off. Simply click the link to the one that interests you, add your address and payment info and you will be all set!
Young Woodworkers Kit Club: Elias loves Tinker Crates, so I was looking for another kit to keep him busy. He enjoyed receiving his own hammer with this kit and assembly a wood sail boat. The project was advanced enough that at almost-12 he still needed a bit help from me. It took about 45 minutes to build and he had a lot of fun with it. I think the 50% off kit is a great deal for an activity to do during this time.
Annie’s Simply Beads Kit-of-the-Month Club: I have never done bead work before, but really was delighted by the kit to make a pretty necklace this month. I will report back, but the supplies and instructions made it seem like this was a great kit to try for 50% off. This would also be a good one for a teen who is good with her hands.
Annie’s Crochet Striped Afghan Club: I have never crocheted before, so really love this idea of this kit club. Each month you receive supplies to learn how to crochet three different rows of a blanket. At the end of the year, you will have a completed blanket, complete with all different stitches. I think it is a rad idea and honestly, the thought of having a new blanket at the end of this year that included a long stretch of staying at home feels like a really special keepsake. Plus, you get everything you need, even the crochet hook, making this a good deal!
Annie’s Crochet Afghan Block-of-the-Month Club: This is the same as the one above, though you make blocks instead of stripes. So fun! Again, this link will get you 50% off.
Annie’s Creative Woman Kit-of-the-Month Club: Y’all know I LOVE a good craft, so of course I had to sign up for this kit for myself. But, I was really disappointed in it. Even at 50% off, I didn’t feel like the kit was worth it. Looking at the site, I’m not sure I’d want to pay $24.95 for any of the kits, but maybe you will feel different.
Annie’s Caring Crochet Kit Club: This kit is built around gifts that you can give.
Annie’s CardMaker Kit-of-the-Month Club: Based on what I could tell on the photos, this kit club does not seem worth the price, even at 50% off.
Annie’s Hook & Needle Kit Club: This is a combo kit club for those who knit AND crochet, as kits vary by month.
Annie’s Creative Quilters Fabric Club: If you are a quilter, this is the club for you.
Annie’s Knit Afghan Kit-of-the-Month Club: This is the same as the crochet, but you knit instead of crochet
I hope you find a craft kit that is life-giving for you or your kids during this safer at home period.
