One of my strong convictions about the content I share here on The Mom Creative is that I have to love something to write about it. It has to be something that my family uses and loves on a regular basis. The kinds of products and brands I talk about with my friends in real life.
If you met me in real life, you would learn that I totally am the person that tells you the latest thing I have bought, read, watched, etc. This blog is a true extension of my personality. I love sharing good stuff with the people that I love.
Over the past 18 months, I have become a huge lover of the Tom’s of Maine brand. I’m excited to be working with them again this year because it means I get to introduce even more people to their wonderful products.
The Tom’s of Maine products I love the most are their baby products. Seriously, if a friend is having or has a baby, I tell her to add them to her registry. The Tom's of Maine baby bath products and lotions have been so great for Ezra’s skin, which is very prone to eczema breakouts. They also smell wonderful. We also use Tom's of Baby Diaper Cream and appreciate how gentle it is.
This summer we have been using their sunscreen. Tom’s of Maine Baby Sunscreen is comprised of only five ingredients, including zinc oxide. It provides SPF 30 protection and is water-resistant up to 80 minutes. It is a bit greasier than other sunscreens, but I like that it contains so few ingredients.
Of course, Tom's of Maine is more than just baby products. They have wonderful bath and body products for the whole family. Matthew loves their bar soap and I use their bath gel, which has a fresh scent, but isn't too overwhelming. The kids' also love their toothpaste!
I also really like their lip balms and lip tints. (And I have noticed that my Tom's of Maine lip balm tends to be what Adeline sneaks from my lip balm container in the bathroom – ha! A girl after my own heart.)
You can find their products at most major retailers including Target, Walgreens and Trader Joes. If you are an online shopper, check out their website, Amazon and Grove Collaborative (which is where I get my products from).
Are you one of those people that loves talking good products/books/shows/etc. with your girlfriends? Share your latest love in the comments!
