Fringe Friday: Baby Memory Keeping

Fringe Friday

I can't believe it is already Friday. This week flew by. After being out of school due to ice all last week, the kids continued to be out of school Monday-Tuesday, then Adeline had strep and was out Wednesday, then it snowed again and they were out of school yesterday too! Thankfully today Elias and Adeline are AT SCHOOL, Ezra is napping and my mom is on an airplane to come visit and help out here for the next week, so things are looking up.

Amidst the busyness of kids and work for The Fringe Hours, I did find some time to work on some memory keeping for Ezra. March is going to be my month for tackling his Project Life album, but I am also excited about a few other simple projects from Hallmark that I am doing to document his first year.

While I was pregnant, Hallmark sent me three memory keeping kits – Boy Watch Me Grow Kit, Baby Milestones and Baby's First Holidays Kit. I don't normally think of Hallmark for memory keeping, but these kits changed that for me. They are SOOOOO cute and perfect for baby's first year.

BabyMemoryKeepingEach kit comes with props of some kind + a little photo album making the perfect keepsake.

Here's the photo I took of Ezra when he was one-month old. We decided Olaf was the perfect stuffed animal to use because he is big and perfectly captures what is popular right now.

This week, I filled out the cards for the Boy Watch Me Grow Kit and got the photo for his first month developed (though I should have done 5×7).

Tomorrow we will take Ezra's 2 month photo – I can't believe he's already been here two months. I'm treasuring every day with him.

Monthly baby stickers are super common, but the fact that this kit comes with the monthly cards and album really makes it so much better. I just love it.

I also did a little Valentine's shoot. I totally forgot about the props on Valentines, so I figured a week and a half later was close enough.

With Elias and Adeline I did a series of cupid pictures (they were 6-7 months at Valentines), but it was a bit more… challenging with Ezra.

Clearly he was NOT in the mood for pictures. However, I still LOVE the shots I got – and the prop is so precious, isn't it?

In addition to these fun memory keeping projects, I started The Paris Architect: A Novel and am loving it. Next week I will be traveling to Canada to do some media for The Fringe Hours and I plan to finish it on the plane.

Okay, what have you been doing in your Fringe Hours? Share your blog posts/instagrams below!

This is the final sponsored post in a year-long series with Hallmark. All thoughts are my own.

The picture of Ezra with Olaf is so cute it’s ridiculous.
