Announcing A Very Special Bloom + Kindle Giveaway

Some of you long-time readers might remember when six years ago, my best friend Angie Smith and I launched a book club called Bloom. Since that time, thousands of women have joined us as we have read encouraging, life-changing books.

Today marks a special day because we are announcing our final Bloom study. We have prayed for many months and feel that it is time to step down from leading studies. But this last study is a pretty special one. Take a few minutes to watch this video of our announcement (yes, we cry) and about the last selection.

What a joy to end such a beautiful chapter going through The Fringe Hours with women from around the world. What I especially love about this particular Bloom is that we invited three friends of mine to join us around a table to discuss the book's chapters – my friend Sarah, a married mom of 4 (we went to college together); my friend Tobi, a married mom of 2 and pediatrician; and my friend Leigh, a single working professional.

The Fringe Hours
Their perspectives really make this study well-rounded and fun.

For all the details about Bloom, click here.

AUTOGRAPHED COPIES

Also, if you haven't pre-ordered The Fringe Hours yet, you might want to do so from DaySpring because they have 500 autographed copies for sale! Yes, in-between newborn nursing sessions, I sat on my couch, autographed books and prayed for the women who would read them.

Autographed copy of The Fringe Hours

DaySpring has the book competitively priced at just $10.99 and you can get free shipping when you buy two and use the code BLOOMBOOK. Think about a friend who might be blessed by the message of making time for her, or maybe even your Mom for Mother's Day. A signed first-edition of a book is sure to be a special gift!

GIVEAWAY

In honor of Bloom launching today, we are going to continue the Book Launch Party fun by giving away three Kindle Fires to three lucky winners.

win a kindle fire

In the research I conducted, the number one activity women wanted to do in their fringe hours was read. When I got a Kindle, I found I read more because I always had a book with me.

Enter using the Rafflecopter below. (Also, if you missed it, yesterday we kicked off an amazing giveaway from ePantry, so be sure to check it out.)

I love to read! I’m horrible with my self control though. Once I start a book, the whole world comes to a stop until I finish it. Hubby and the kids can cook their own meals and wash their clothes. Right? LOL

Actually, I enjoy scrapbooking, which surprises me, but a few years ago I stumbled upon your Project Life posts and found a method that works for me. I LOVE looking back at the pages I have made and have memories come to life because I took the time to document. Thank you!

I do love to read but I also just started to quill again. I did it long ago when I was a girl in 4-H so it has come back quickly and it feels sooooo good to do something creative with my hands!

I would always take a book or magazine with me in the car and read when I was waiting for the kids to get out of school. Now we live in a busy suburb and I can read at some stop lights due to the time length. Even reading one page is helpful to keeping me sane

I love to read it relaxes me. I still read paper books, which makes it challenging sometimes…. because when I find I have a few minutes to read…. I don’t actually have a book waiting to be read. I would love to have a Kindle Fire!!!!
