Project Life Tuesday: Week 25

Welcome to Project Life Tuesday 2013 If you are new to The Mom Creative, welcome. I hope you will stay awhile. I'm Jessica – wife to Matthew, mom to Elias, a silly and spirited four-year-old, and Adeline, a spunky two-year-old. I'm also a marketing professional, savvy deal finder, photo lover and memory keeper trying to juggle it all.

Each Tuesday, I share my most recent spread as well as host a linky for readers to link up their pictures/layouts.

Week 25: Jun 16-22
Pages used: Design A, 5 x 7 Page Protector, 6 x 12 Page Protector, Design G, and Design B

The bulk of the photos in this week's spread are from Adeline's birthday party (click here to view all the party details). There were so many good ones- it was hard to narrow them down.

For the first page, I kept things simple – just an assortment of photos from the week leading up to Adeline's birthday party. (Don't you love the migraine self portrait – lol.)

The 5×7 insert includes Adeline's birthday invite + some Sesame Street scrapbook paper I used with her party decorations.

The 6×12 insert has my favorite photo of Adeline from the party. I added a “2” for her age. The thicker is one I got at TJMaxx (they have tons of packs of Thickers for only $1.49) and the round journaling card is an oldie from my stash (I think it's Elle's Studio). The backside is a photo of the two of us. I love it!

The Design G insert is all photos from the party. The front side focused mostly on games from the party. I included some instagrams putting the games together, as well as journaling about them. The right side of the page has two slots for 4×6 photos, but I used three 4×3 photos instead + a journaling card from one of the mini school kits.

On the backside, the Good Times card is from the Honey kit and the balloons journaling card is from the Dear Lizzy kit that was available exclusively through HSN earlier this year.

I used a Design B page for the last page in the spread. The first two columns included more party photos, while the last row had some swimming pictures and Adeline's 2 year check up.

For Adeline's check up picture, I collaged several photos on a 4×6 picture and wrote her stats directly on the image.

Whew! That was a lot of photos! 🙂

Project Life links and posts worth checking out

Snapfish has some great special offers right now, including getting 99 prints for 99 cents with the code BDAYUSA (expires 7/17/13). These sales are a great way to get caught up on printing photos!

I love Brooke's Bigger Things project that she is doing with her Project Life album – a must-see. What an inspiration to do more journaling about what is going on in your life.

Laura Kate's yellow, white and turquoise spread is  so fun!

I love everything about Sarah Boirin's spread. Such talent!

Becky Higgins is sharing the summer CHA Project Life releases all week. The Project Life Sunshine kit will probably be what I use for my 2014 album. Love it so much. The Heritage edition is also very pretty.

Jessica – what’s so funny is that on that first spread I’m drawn to the picture of you and thought “What on earth is wrong???!!!” and then I read the note…migraines are horrible…I get sinus headaches a lot and that’s about how I feel…not a lot of good meds for it but I feel your pain! As always, love your ideas/seeing the finished product of PL after hearing about the parties etc. Awesome!

A little selfie that I took one day when I had a bad migraine at work. 🙂 Wasn’t thinking about PL at the time, but it is important to document the good and the bad.

Hey girlie! LOVE your pages like usual! What a cute party for Adeline! I can’t wait to see the blog post(s) about it! TOO cute! Sorry that you suffer from migraines. You ever considered essential oils? I know there are quite a few people who swear by using them to help stop or even prevent their migraines and it might be worth a shot if you suffer from them often! You can email me for more information if you’d like! There’s a FB group where you can search for other testimonies and treatments for migraines with EO’s and it might give you some insight on it and be super helpful. If you’re not interested, totally OK, too! Just wanted to mention it! Hugs! Have a great day! 🙂

Yes, I have, but they didn’t help. Thanks for sharing. I saw on FB that you started selling oils – good luck!

Well, that just stinks! I know one called m-grain has helped so many! They’ve done great things for my husband who suffers from allergies!

You poor thing. I think it’s great that you documented a not so great moment.
Love the 6×12 pictures. Do you print those at home or have them printed?

What an awesome party! I love the background in the kids pics. They’re just so bright and colorful. The picture of you got my attention real quick- Migraines. I hate them. Over the years I’ve learned tricks to try and cut them off as soon as I sense them, but that’s never 100% effective. I think I might have to include a pic of myself with one some day. I’m kinda curious what I look like. I know what I feel like!

Hi, I want to reveal one incredible internet site which I
have found. Within this web site you may gett a totally
free minecraft consideration. I wass a tadd sceptic after i discovered this and especially when i found any review.
Mostt of us don’t trust to be able to something precisely what
is no cost, especially in tems of 30usd assistance.
I’m quite interested man or woman and also I
had to try that, even when My partner and i saw any survey which usually
some sort of usuawlly points to be able to coon however in such cases, itt wasn’t.
People don’t need to get everything so you won’t need to
acquire any trojan or perhaps anything. You are
able too just develop a forex account on their internet sie along with you then may obtain the e-mail
informaation together with verification link therefore you are generally good to go.
Lett me not really pressure an individual directly into something therefore you will need to do
it you self iff you prefer a nno cost minecraft bank
    account.
