Decorating with Deco Mesh

If you are looking for inspiration on how to decorate with deco mesh, this blog has some great tips for making a deco mesh wreath and using deco mesh on your tree.

A few weeks ago I was asked by Sam's Club to go shopping at their store and use the products I bought for a DIY project. I must say, I don't generally think of Sam's for DIY so I took them up on their challenge – and was pleasantly surprised.

Because it's Christmas time, they had tons of Christmas decor supplies. I was immediately drawn to the packs of deco mesh.

Are you familiar with deco mesh? It's this wide, pliable, mesh material that comes in lots of colors and is so pretty and fun.

Here in the south, there is deco mesh decor EVERYWHERE. I had never even seen it in stores before this year.

After opening it up and playing a little bit, I went back to Sam's for more. At $8 a pack, it is so affordable – and so fun! I also bought some big and pretty rolls of thin and thick ribbon.

My first project was a deco mesh wreath. These are EVERYWHERE on Pinterest. I used this tutorial and within an hour had this pretty number hanging on our front door. The mesh and ribbon is from Sam's and the ornaments are from our Christmas stash.

I must admit. I was pretty darn proud of myself. Didn't it turn out adorable!? I promise, you could totally do it too. SO, so easy. It took only about half a roll of mesh to do the wreath.

I then decided to trim our main tree with deco mesh. Matthew and I really wanted a change this year and boy did this mesh do that. Check it out!

Sam's Club sells deco mesh every year. If you don't have a membership, click here to get one at a discount + some freebies.

Have you decorated with deco mesh before?

Disclosure: Sam's club provided me with a membership and gift card to facilitate this DIY project. All fun with the deco mesh was my own!

I started seeing it on blogs last year, and a little bit on people’s mailboxes locally, but not in stores. I wanted to try it this year but didn’t want to spend any more money. If I win it, though…. :0)
