I started Project Life Tuesday in 2010 because:
- I needed to keep myself accountable and on top of my photos each week.
- My family loved being able to count on a weekly post with pics of the kids.
- I thought others might want to keep themselves accountable too.
It was a huge blessing and so I am excited to be kicking off my third year of this series.
Each Tuesday, I will share my spread from the previous week, as well as host a linky for readers to link up their pictures/layouts. This year, Epson is sponsoring Project Life Tuesday, and they provided me with their Epson Stylus R2880 Large Format Photo Printer (C11CA16201) for many of my album's photos. Printing photos at home is hopefully going to help keep me on track!
Sunday night was the first time I had worked on Project Life in weeks and it was so fun! I still have a lot of catching up to do, but am hoping that over the next couple weeks I can get back on track.
For June 24-30, I kept things pretty simple. We did a lot of swimming that week and had Adeline's birthday party. Since I am making a photo book for her birthday party, I didn't insert a ton of pictures from it in Project Life – just a couple to get a sense of it.
This week I used a Design A and a We are Memory Keeper page (I love the multipack that that page came from!), along with a 6 x 12 and a 6 x 12 for 4×6 Photos.
I did all the journaling for the left page on the single journaling card. I kept things VERY simple.
I used the heart grid cardstock from my stash to do a bit of journaling about Adeline at 12 months. I added the 12 with some thickers.
The back of the 6×12 + the next 6×12 insert are all photos from Adeline's birthday. I embellished with a few glittery thickers and did the journaling on a card from my Project Life kit. I also added stickers that say birthday brunch on the photo of the room.
For the last spread, you can see the rest of the birthday photos + a page dedicated to our Family Pool Night. We got so many great shots, I decided to do a whole page.
I printed my title and journaling right on my 12×4 photo and I love how it turned out.

I love the page with the pictures from the Pool, and the long photo at the top. Beautiful! 🙂
It’s good that you’re doing a photo book for her bday party. I’ve got a vacation coming up in a few months and I told my husband last night I’m going to end up having to do a mini album for it. I’ll have way too many photos for Project Life!
Another great week. The pool shots are fantastic.
Thanks so much for sharing.
Love the pool night title photo! The pictures of Adeline with the daisy are just precious.

Yay! I’m glad you are getting back into project life. Hope you get caught up soon. 🙂
Lovely as ever! You have such an eye!
I love the photo of Adeline with the fruit pouch. My son (who is a month older than Adeline) LOVES those. We call them “squeeze-ee” fruit at our house. 🙂
I love that shot too – especially because it is just such an ordinary every day moment, you know?
Totally! I think I’m going to have to capture a photo of Austin and his fruit pouch now, too!

Babies in tutus, really is there anything cuter? Makes me wish that was more trendy when my sweet Isabelle was a baby (now she is almost 9, sigh)
No there is not. Adeline wears at least one a week – though not one usually that poofy! 🙂
Jessica, this weeks pages are so AWESOME and SWEET!! She is such a cutie in all of these fun bday pictures. It must be so fun for you to have a little girl to dress up and do girlie things with. I can’t believe she’s one already, time does fly, so glad you have these memories in here to remember how fun this age is. Thanks again for linking up for us. Enjoy your week!
That is one cutie pie of a baby!

I would love to know where you get your large format picture paper from? It’s pretty expensive so I usually just print enlargements at Costco. I have the same printer as you. Thanks for any help.
I love the pictures from Family Pool night. We go to the pool a lot but since I have a 3 yr old, I have hardly any pictures of us there. Finally dragged my husband along earlier this week and put him in charge of the camera – didn’t get the exact picture that I wanted, but some is better than none.
You definitely should find a way to take pictures. Maybe have your 3YO sit on the edge of the pool? I often swim holding my SLR above my head to get good pics of the kids in the pool. Risky, but worth it. 🙂
Love this week Jessica ! Yo have taken such great photos of both the kids, Adeline’s party. Adeline is such a sweetie so cuddly and I think E’s froggy swim bands are so cute! Really loved how you used the wrmk protector it was so inspiring!
