Sucker Valentine: Mom Creative Tips

As I shared on Facebook last week, we jumped on the sucker Valentine bandwagon this year.

The idea was inspired by this Valentine I saw on Pinterest.

I love this idea because the picture captures Elias in 2012 – so much better than a generic Valentine. ๐Ÿ™‚

Here are my tips for making these sweet and easy Valentines.

  • Have your child hold their arm out a bit to the side, not directly in front of their face (it was a bit difficult to get Elias to understand this concept!)
  • Dress your child in Valentine's colors (red, white and/or pink)
  • Solid colors or small prints will keep the focus on your child's face
  • Simple clip art or photoshop brushes are a fun way to add some hearts/Valentines art
  • Leave plenty of “white space” so you have room for text
  • Buy small suckers so they don't overwhelm the picture
  • Use a razor blade (or if you are a scrapbooker, use an eyelet setter like I did) to create slits/holes for the suckers

For more Valentine's inspiration, check out my Valentines Pinterest board.

We jumped on the bandwagon too! I wanted to make the bouncy ball valentines, but my son saw the one like this when I showed him my pinterest board and he HAD to have it! We just made them today. I did a block of red down the left side of the card with white text instead of putting the text in the grass. Mainly because our grass is not so pretty and I didn’t want to spend all day in photoshop to make it look good. They turned out very cute! Thank goodness for Pinterest otherwise we would have boring generic cards again this year! ๐Ÿ˜‰

This can be done in many ways including networking groups, community service
or hosting a party at your office or some other venue.

Vocabulary and grammar would center around what was necessary for reading and discussing the book.

Of course, this also means that it can get quite scrappy as players try to charge along the net.
A Kenya Safari is also quite popular as it was part of the original
safari market, which has sadly left it in quite a state. Examples of adventures include
a trip to the beach, a hiking trail trip, a mountain climbing trip, a
water sports trip, a recreational vehicle trip, a
trip to a state or national park to name a few.
Firstly, know what to look out for while photographing.
The DI team is introduced by the Officer-in-Charge and the Drill Instructor
Oath is administered. If you are going camping by yourself,
you will need to consider how much weight you can carry while you are hiking in unfamiliar terrain.
The amount of money you earn at a camp varies depending on various factors, such as your experience and
the number of years you have previously worked at the camp.
A summer day camp is normally grouped into three divisions
such as one for kindergarten group and the others are for grades 1-2, and grades 3 to 5.

You can go to their websites and look for a listing for the doctors you are considering.
During your consultation visits, ask potential plastic
surgeons about the financing plans they offer.
First decide on what color you want your bathroom to
be and add two shades of the same color, one lighter and one darker (or one
totally different but matching color) for accents.
