Some Targets marked their summer seasonal items 90% off this morning and the rest will likely go tomorrow. (Check this post on All Things Target Facebook page to see if someone reported your store).
This is one of my favorite clearance markdowns of the year because you can get so many practical items.
Here’s what I got (one of my stores was 90% off, while the other was still 70% off)/what to look for:
Paper products – perfect for entertaining or just easy weeknights. Plates were just $.20-.40 cents a pack.
Tablecloths– Disposable plastic tablecloths for $0.30! Perfect for summer entertaining.
Sunscreen – 3-packs of Target sunscreen were just $1.49. With two kids in camp and one in day care, we go through A LOT of sunscreen, so I stock up every year.
Summer totes – I bought several totes for just $0.99. I plan to give them to teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week with a tag that says your “TOTE-ALLY” awesome.
Summer games – LOTS of outdoor games are crazy low prices. These generally don’t last more than 1-2 seasons, but at just $1-$3, they are totally worth buying.
Crayola Crayon/Pencil/Marker sets: For some reason, they have tons of “summer boxes” of giant sets of art supplies. These are amazing and at 70-90% off, they are worth buying as many as you can.
Summer drinkware and waterbottles – I also bought dozens of these to give away during Teacher Appreciation Week. At just $0.59-$1.29, you can’t beat the price.
Summer entertaining pieces – From giant tin containers for drinks to fun melamine trays, Target has an abundance of fun entertaining pieces, all priced at $.99-$2.99.
Chairs – I bought collapsable folding chairs at 70% off (just $2.99), but I spied several for just $0.99-$1.99 today. I also got plastic kids Adirondack chairs for $0.99.
