Spring Fashion from Kohl’s

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Kohl’s. I received a Kohl’s gift card to facilitate my post and as a thank you for participating.

From the time I was little, I remember shopping at Kohl’s. You see, growing up in Wisconsin (where Kohl’s is headquartered) meant that Kohl’s was sort of everywhere.

Now that I am mom myself, I still love going to Kohl’s. You can find just about everything at Kohl’s, can’t you? From my dishes (Fiesta) to kids clothes, they have it all.

Recently I went in looking for a few spring items for myself. I have been working hard to buy nicer clothes that last a bit long than your average Old Navy tee. I tried on about a dozen tops and found several winners. My favorite was this amazingly perfect Vera Wang tee. I sort of wish I would have bought one in every pattern. It is the most comfortable shirt I own, super flattering and very versatile. I styled it two different ways – one, more casual for the weekend and a second that is nicer for a the office or church. Watch this quick 30-second video to check the looks out.

I also couldn’t resist the Vera Wang earrings, which go with pretty much everything I own. Here’s a close up on them.

And the second look with a cardigan. I totally wore this to work yesterday. Easy, pretty and springy.

While I was focused on buying some spring essentials, I of course had to pick up stuffed animals for Elias and Adeline. The Kohls Cares plush and books are some of my favorite items to buy our kids.

Not only are the stuffed animals and books incredibly nice and affordable (just $5) but all 100% of the proceeds benefit children’s health and education. I work at a children’s hospital that benefits from this program and it really makes a difference.

So next time you are near a Kohl’s, go check out their awesome selection of spring fashions and buy some books and stuffed animals for your kids.
