Project Life Blow-Out Sale on Amazon

by jessicaturner on January 27, 2014

Becky Higgins
Y’all – RUN to Amazon right now.

They are having a massive Project Life blow-out sale with prices 40-50% off.

Here are my favorite deals (affiliate links used):

Project Life Core Kit – Baby Edition: This is the gender neutral kit and it is marked down to just 50% off. I bought several because they make awesome baby shower gifts. I have heard rumors that these kits might be discontinued, so I would get ’em while you can. The boy kit is no longer on Amazon and the girl one is still marked full price.

Project Life Month Dividers – Baby Edition – Get these to go with your kit! $3.99

Project Life Childhood Mini Kit – Wellington Edition: I love, love, love this mini kit. I used it to scrapbook my college days. It is versatile and fantastic. You can’t beat the price either – $5.99.

6 x 12 Page Protectors – This is one of my favorite size page protectors. They are only $3.19. I don’t know what the heck is going on or why they are so cheap, so I bought several packs.

8 x 10 Page Protectors – Horizontal– I use these all the time for kid artwork in my albums. At $3.49, I snatched several of these too.

Becky Higgins Page Protectors – Small Variety Pack 2 – The madness! These are also 50% off at $6.99.

Project Life Mini Album – Cinnamon – Love these mini albums and at $9.99, you can’t go wrong.

And here are a few other deals on page protectors by other brands (all of which I have, love and use within my Project Life albums)

We R Memory Keepers 12 x 12 inch (Multi Pack) 3-Ring Album Photo Sleeve Protectors – 10 PK– These are not Becky Higgins brand, but have some of my favorite unique pocket layouts available on the market. Regular price is $13.99, but they are marked down to $5.99.

We R Memory Keepers 12 x 12 inch (4×6 and 4×4 slots): These page protectors are another awesome design, and have the same low $5.99 price.

American Crafts 12×12 protectors for 6×4 photos: This is a very simple design – great for when you have lots of horizontal photos. These are regularly $10.99, but are marked down to $2.99.

Several albums are also marked down. Be sure to share what great deals you find.

I wonder why they are marked down. Is Amazon going to no longer carry PL?

jessicaturner January 27, 2014 at 4:41 pm

No, they definitely are still going to carry Project Life. (Amazon was mentioned in a press release for Project Life during CHA.) These products may be getting discontinued, or they maybe are being slightly redesigned/repackaged.

Thanks for the links, Jessica!

Are you planning on starting up PL Tuesday soon?

jessicaturner January 28, 2014 at 10:31 am

Yep, like I said in the post, they are starting again next week! :)

Katie January 28, 2014 at 1:38 pm

Yay! I was thinking I was going to have to go through old link ups and bookmark the participants I regularly visited. Hope this makes it easier to find them again. Missing my weekly fix! Thanks also for answering my question above. That’s what I thought but when you hear blow, it makes me wonder.

Sorry, I just needed a little break. :)

Thank you!!! My five year old is using one of my HSN auto ship kits I didn’t like and she told me “This is the best gift I have ever gotten!” Ha:)
She asked if I wanted to do mine with her so I got out the childhood mini kit I had and worked on it with her, finally getting her to do the writing and self portrait I have been asking her about since kindergarten started in August;)
So I snagged that other childhood kit and the baby kit because I love the boy one I got for my son and have been meaning to go back and get the neutral one to do one for her — she has Project Life albums for every year and every day but the baby book concept still just grabs me:)

I feel the same way. I have YET to do my daughter’s, but this is going to be the year. I have finally started organizing photos to print.

Thanks! Do the WRM and AC protectors line up, hole-wise, with the PL binders?

jessicaturner January 28, 2014 at 4:32 pm

Yes, of course. All 12×12 page protectors are standard. I have all the pages listed above in my Project Life albums. :)

Thanks for the tip the other day about picking up the 6×8 journal pages at Michael’s to include in my regular album for longer journaling–I saw the new products but had never made that connection. What a GREAT idea! I picked some up today and with the 40% off coupon they were only $8.99.

I hope you’ve enjoyed your time off from the regular PL posts. And I’m glad you’ll be starting again :-)

Hey! I found the baby boy PL kit on Amazon through Becky Higgins… Perhaps there are many different vendors for these kits and they’re consolidating? Here’s a link to where you can buy the baby boy, the baby girl and other kits (full price, though):

Hi Jessica, good on you for knowing you needed a break – me too :) I’ve been using the time to enjoy working on my Christmas pictures… although I have noticed that I’m thinking about PL2014 and have the urge to check what’s on my photo card for January. Signs it’s time to wrap up 2013 and open a new project!

My question is: is the PL Tue link up just for 2014 pages, or can we post about the last weeks of 2013?

jessicaturner January 29, 2014 at 9:19 pm

You can do whatever you want. The first week I will post a FAQ post with a linky, then I plan to show some last pages from 2013. I haven’t even touched 2014 yet!

rachel @ open~heart January 30, 2014 at 9:56 am

oh good, it’s not just me! lol

Hi! I am just getting into PL and had a quick (maybe obvious) question for you…Are page protectors just non-sectioned photo pages… and why the smaller pages 6 x12.. what do you use these for? Do you put them in your 12 x 12 albums? Sorry if this seems like a funny question… but thank you for your time :))
