Wasn’t last week fun?! I loved talking books all week long. My reading list is SO long after all those recommendations. Y’all are amazing.
And to those who asked, yes, I will do that series again. Pinky promise.
This weekend I was stacking a bunch of books to read on my nightstand and realized that I had several duplicate copies of some new books (perks of being a blogger!). Since so many of you love to read as much as I do, I thought it would be fun to gift someone with a box of books!
Here’s what’s included:
Restless: Because You Were Made for More by Jennie Allen: Jennie and I have gotten to know each other a bit over the past year. She is passionate, authentic and genuinely kind. Her passion for Christ is inspiring. I haven’t had a chance to dive into Restless yet, but I know it is going to speak loudly to me. (You can read the first three chapters for free here.)
Balancing It All: My Story of Juggling Priorities and Purpose by Candace Cameron Bure: What can I say? I grew up in the 80s and Full House was one of my favorite shows. Now both DJ and I are all grown up. I admire Candace and as a working mom, I am interested in her perspective on “balance”.
Say Goodbye to Survival Mode: 9 Simple Strategies to Stress Less, Sleep More, and Restore Your Passion for Life by Crystal Paine: This book releases later this month and man, it is an awesome read. I feel like Crystal and I were cut from the same cloth. Any busy woman will appreciate the truths in this book.
The Greatest Gift: Unwrapping the Full Love Story of Christmas by Ann Voskamp: This book blessed me so much this Christmas season. Ann’s words are like balm to the soul.
Happier at Home: Kiss More, Jump More, Abandon a Project, Read Samuel Johnson, and My Other Experiments in the Practice of Everyday Life by Gretchen Rubin: I love Gretchen Rubin’s writing style. I have had this on my list to read for a long time. I think it’s the perfect book for the new year.
I’ll also probably throw in a few other sundries because after all that 90% off Christmas shopping, my gift stash is overflowing.
So, if you would like to win a box of books from me, just enter using the Rafflecopter below. I’ll pick a winner this weekend.
