EXPIRED: $50 in Free Minted Cards & Products – Ends Monday

by jessicaturner on November 10, 2012

If you are a fan of The Mom Creative on Facebook, then you may have seen this deal yesterday.

Currently, Minted is offering all new customers a $25 credit for a $50 $100 purchase. (Update – Minted changed this incentive from $50 to $100 minimum purchase on Sunday, but you can still save significantly on your order.)

But it gets better.

Now through Monday, get $25 off all holiday card purchases+ free shipping with the code HOL25SHIP. So that basically means $50 in free cards/product! (Offer includes holiday photo cards, non-holiday photo cards, Christmas photo cards, New Year photo cards, Hanukkah cards, corporate holiday cards, holiday postcards, Minibook(TM) holiday cards, and Diwali cards.)

I was able to order 25 flat cards and paid only $14 out of pocket.

Another reader reported: “I tested it too and got 25 holiday postcards plus a personalized journal for $9 shipped! Thanks for sharing this awesome deal!”

Now, someone else did say that a customer service tech told her she couldn’t use two codes on one order, but I am wondering if this was an error on the tech’s part because the $25 credit is automatically applied to your order (you won’t see it til the page confirming your order, right before you hit submit), so you are really just using one code.

I think you could also use the credit toward other things like gift tags, address labels, journals etc. Remember, personalized stationery also makes great Christmas gifts. And if you have ordered your Christmas cards already, consider ordering custom thank you cards.

But this combo offer expires Monday, so get on it! :)

Here are some other current card deals:

I was trying to order some business cards when I went to checkout they said that the code was wrong. I copy and pasted it so I don’t know what’s wrong.

Be sure you didn’t include the period. Also, while the $25 credit can be used on anything, the coupon code must be used on cards.

I just tried this and when I click on the new customer link it goes to the minted place but you have to place a 100 dollar order to get the 25 dollar credit. Super sad b/c I dont need to place a 100 dollar order at this time. Just thought I let you know.

Kristin- Thanks for letting me know I wasn’t the only one. I even did the live chat and I think he thought I was crazy and stupid. It was a great deal but I still don’t want to spend that much on cards. I will look for another deal. I love the deal Jessica told us about and was all for it to get my Christmas cards out of the way.

Yes, I posted this on Facebook. Apparently, they were inundated with people taking advantage of this and they changed the deal from a $50 purchase to a $100 purchase. :( It is always best to take advantage of deals like this right away because too often retailers change the terms (especially when A LOT more people take advantage of it than they anticipate.)

My gliche was that the offer for new customers is $25 off of $100, not $50. I was at $91 so I just ordered another journal and called it good.
