Simply Sweet Cuddle Blankets – The Perfect Gift

by jessicaturner on October 24, 2012

I have a thing for blankets. We have them everywhere, in every room.

It seems like my kids got the blanket gene too because they love a good blanket just as much as me.

When Stephanie of Simply Sweet by Stephanie contacted me to do a review, I gladly accepted. I have admired her blankets for a long-time and thought that the kids were love the soft minky and darling patterns that Stephanie puts together.

As a mama, I loved being able to be involved in the process – from picking the fabrics to Stephanie’s kind communication on their blankets’ forthcoming arrival.

I also love that each blanket is personalized with their names. I know that these will be blankets we keep forever. Someday I imagine their kids snuggling with them.

When the blankets arrived, both kids got so excited. And in the past three months since their arrival, Elias and Adeline have cuddled with them every day. Elias calls his blanket his cuddle blanket. They are the softest minky fabric – I sort of want one too! :)

In fact, recently Elias asked if his dinosaur blanket could be his school nap blanket – he said he just loved it and wanted to have it at school every day.

The blankets are incredibly well-made and after numerous washings still look like brand new. I can’t recommend Stephanie’s Simply Sweet shop enough (you order via Facebook). I hope you will check it out and consider having a blanket made for your little one – a perfect gift for Christmas.

Disclosure: Stephanie sent my family two blankets to compensate me for my review. All thoughts are my own.

These blankets look so nice and comfy. Since I don’t have a Facebook account it doesn’t appear that I will be able to order any. :-(

So sweet. My kiddos adore cuddling up under blankets. I actually have a couple on my list to make for Christmas. These are awful tempting though.

Sometimes having someone else sew is easier, isn’t it? :)

I usually wash ours on Friday nights when they come home from daycare and the kids snuggle with them all weekend. Then Monday, they go back to school!

Hi Katy!

My regular minky blankets are 30X36 and are $45 with first name embroidered. I have different sizes. This is just my basic baby blanket that is a great size all the way up to age 3 usually. :)
