A Weekend Away + Family Fun for You

I got home last night from my weekend away feeling refreshed and energized from quality time with so many women I love. I’m so thankful that Matthew held down the fort with grace (although with both kids being on antibiotics and our house in boxes, it was not his favorite weekend).

Today I am back in the swing of things – getting ready to move on Friday, back to work from 9-5 and lots and lots of to do lists. I am praying for patience and energy for the week ahead (if you could whisper a quick one for me as well, I would be so grateful!).

Also, I noticed this morning as I checked my emails that FamilyFun Magazine is on sale today only for only $4.19 per year (64% off)! You can order up to 3 years at this price. Just enter coupon code MOMCREATIVE.  (This offer expires at Monday 09/10/12 11:59 PM EST EST.) Like Working Mother, this is a magazine I look forward to every month. It has so much creative inspiration!!

Now, if life could slow down enough for me to read a bit more. For now I will take stolen moments in the bathroom – ha! :)

What is your week ahead looking like?

Love the idea of a great girls weekend, it looks like you all had a wonderful time. I love your dress ! I’m sending you a load of best wishes with the move !
Hope you’ve got some friends to look after the kids while you move boxes and furniture around. We babysat for friends on the day they moved & the day after when they cleaned. I think they felt good about not having to worry about the kids and they were able to get things done fast, it allowed them to set up the kids rooms first so they felt at home in the new house. Another plus was they were so busy exploring their new rooms, that Mum and Dad got more rooms unpacked and set up too. Take care.
