World Vision Dominican Republic Trip Photo Book

by jessicaturner on June 17, 2011

Last May I had the privilege of traveling with World Vision to the Dominican Republic. (You can read posts from the trip here.)

I have never chronicled the trip through a photo book. I have always had big plans on including people’s posts and going all out.

Well, more than a year later, I still hadn’t made the book.

So, using a Shutterfly Groupon, I buckled down and made the book. It took several hours, but I LOVE how it turned out. It has more than 100 photos in it, a few simple lines of text, and two blog posts.

Check it out:

I have been learning to let go of some of my expectations of myself. Even though this photo book isn’t exactly like I pictured, it has an unforgettable trip captured, which is way better than the photos just sitting on my hard drive.

Shutterfly right now is offering 40% off all photo books with the code BOOK40. This is good through Wednesday, June 22. This is a fantastic deal on their photo books and definitely worth taking advantage of if you have some books you have been wanting to make.

What can you create today that you have been pushing off?

Is the shutterfly code only good once per account?
I have several book I need to make, would it be cheaper to do multiple transactions, or 1 large transaction?
Thanks for all you do Jessica, love the book you made!

I’m sorry, I don’t know. You could call Shutterfly customer service though and ask…
