Last Day and Random Updates

by jessicaturner on April 6, 2011

Today is my last day at my current job. Needless to say, things have been a little wild this week as I have worked hard to get things wrapped up.

All my stuff all packed up: Chair from UW Madison, bag from DaySpring

Sorry PL Tuesday didn’t happen yesterday. We’ll just double up on links next week. Thank you for grace.

I have a special post scheduled for tomorrow – it’s been in the works for TWO months and I am so excited, so be sure to check in tomorrow.

Also, if you could keep me in your prayers this next week, I would be so grateful. Specifically:

  • Last day at work today
  • 3-hour gestational diabetes test tomorrow morning
  • Traveling mercies as Elias and I are flying to Wisconsin for a quick visit on Friday – Monday
  • I start my new job on Tuesday

It’s going to be a busy few days for this mama.

Where did you get the chair? I love it. It reminds me of time spent at the Union.

Go Bucky!

You can buy them from the Wisconsin Union. It was a graduation present from my sweet parents. I love, love, love it.

Thanks for the info. This will make the perfect father’s dad present for my hubbie. (We are both UW grads).

Hold off on the excitement. Did you see how much each chair costs?
Too much! LOL

Congratulations for what I’m sure were an excellent 7 years at your current job!

Have a good mini-vacay!

You’re in my prayers on all counts. I hope that you get good results from the diabetes testing and that you and your little man have a safe trip.

Very cool, didn’t know you could buy the chairs.

By the way, you’re picking the right time to come to Wisconsin. It’s supposed to be 70 and sunny on Saturday and even warmer (but raining) on Sunday!

Definitely an investment! I think my parents knew I would likely pass it down to my grandkids. :)
