Incorporating Photos Into Every Day Life

by jessicaturner on March 15, 2011

Triple posts today! Don’t miss the Shutterfly Groupon and Project Life Tuesday below. :)

In January, Ali Edwards posted a link to a post by Melissa on the Freckle Photo Blog about her family’s tradition of making annual photo plates and using them in every day life.

Since reading this post, I have been watching for a great photo plate deal from SeeHere because I know that they often put photo plates on sale.

Well they are finally on sale! Now through tomorrow (Wednesday, March 16), you can get photo plates from SeeHere for 50% off (melamine AND glass), plus FREE shipping with the code plates-17. That makes them only $5.99 a piece. :)

I love this idea! I am always looking for different ways of incorporating photos into my family’s life and this one is especially easy and sweet. I think that as our kids get older, they will be especially tickled by using these photo places. And, when they go off to college, I know they will be treasured by Matthew and me.

I shared this new family tradition with Matthew and he loved it. I love how supportive he is of my photo loving.

Here are a couple of the SeeHere photo plates I made. (I went with the melamine because I like that the photo goes the entire plate.)

This is my favorite snapshot from our wedding.
One of mt favorite pictures of Elias.
