Tommy Thursday: Moms Talk About Reading

by jessicaturner on December 30, 2010

Tommy Nelson was gracious enough to sponsor me to attend the Relevant Conference. They are such a creative, fun, thoughtful company – it was truly an honor.

While brainstorming what the sponsorship would look like and the types of posts I could write, we wanted to include other mom’s voices. So, during the conference, I chatted with a handful of moms about why reading is important in their families and what it means for their kids.

Check out what these moms had to say.

Special thanks to:
Allison: O My Family
Erin: Home with the Boys
Emily: The Pilot’s Wife
Nish: The Outdoor Wife
Kelly: Faithful Provisions
Jennifer: Balancing Beauty and Bedlam
Arianne: To Think is to Create
Sara: Love Sara Sophia

I love that each of these moms echo what is important to Tommy – fostering knowledge, imagination and each child’s uniqueness. Reading is such an important way to nurture our kids.
