Today has been a great Saturday. I got up early, caught up on some email, fed Elias, showered and was out the door by nine to run errands with the peanut (Matthew left early to write). I was very excited to go to Toys R Us to get a $40 box of diapers for FREE. How you ask? Well, I bought a coupon on eBay for a free box of Pampers. The word on the Internet was that some retailers were no longer accepting these coupons because some people had tried to copy them, but my friend Suzie was able to use them in Nashville (she bought a couple) so I thought it was worth the risk. So the box of diapers actually cost me $15. Not bad at all for 200 PAMPERS. Gosh, I love Pampers. We haven’t had Pampers in a while because I have been using up my $3 off Kroger diaper coupons.
Did you know you could buy coupons on eBay? I had no idea until a friend mentioned it to me a few months ago. Craziness. I have only done it a couple times, but it has always been hugely beneficial. (Two weeks ago I bought a 10% off your purchase coupon for Lowes, which I used at Home Depot on our new carpeting – and saved $200! The coupon cost me $4. NICE!)
We also picked up some party supplies for his first birthday party, including little bottles of bubbles to give to all the kids. I am going to cover the bottles in cute scrapbooking paper and put little dragon stickers on every one. I think they will look adorable and will be a lot of fun at the party.
Elias was pooped out when we got home and took a two hour nap. I used that time to put TWO months worth of Project 365 pictures in my scrapbook. Needless to say, I am a bit behind. Oh well. I am not stressing about it. Then I cleaned a bunch of boxes out of our storage closet, trying to make room for more boxes that will go in there when the carpet is installed.
When Elias woke up, we ate and then went to the pool. He LOVES the pool. It is so cute.
The pool wore him out and he is napping again. I am going to try to place a big photo order on shutterfly that I have been procastinating on. It is going to be several hundred photos!
A great Saturday…
