Free Stuff

by jessicaturner on January 28, 2009

Everyone loves free stuff, right? Especially during these tough economic times. I thought I would share a few of my favorite ways to earn free stuff!
1. Enter contests – lots of blogs (including this one) out there offer chances to win things. Enter them! The more you enter, the more chances you have to win something!
Speaking of… the winner of my stash giveaway was comment #206 (thanks to random.org). That’s Ben and Alissa (10:43). Email me your address so I can send you some goodies.
2. Swagbucks.com – This has been the best and easiest way I have found to easily acquire free stuff. I wasn’t sure if it was legit, but I have earned six Amazon $5 giftcards in the past month, so it definitely is legit and works! Basically you use Swagbucks.com just like your regular search engine (it is powered by google and ask.com). Pretty much every day you will randomly receive “bucks” that you can exchange for tons of free stuff – Amazon gift cards, Southwest gift cards, Itunes, concert tickets, etc. I read on a blog that a lady did most of her Christmas shopping just by stockpiling giftcards from Swagbucks. Is that not amazing?! It is totally worth signing up for.
3. Freebies4Mom – This great website posts free samples/coupons/giveaways every day. I literally sign up for something almost every day. It is fun getting samples in the mail.
4. Absurdly Cool Freebies – This aggregator compiles freebies offered online.
5. 5 Minutes for Giveaways – Hosted by the popular 5 Minutes for Moms, this site offers great giveaways for families. The stuff they giveaway is amazing – check them out.
What giveaway/free stuff sites do you love?

I live in the UK – so would swagbucks work with me. I wouldnt have thought so because I use pounds not dollars.

I love theradio for their giveaways. The radio lines over here are free to call so just ring up all the time to enter.

Thank you so much for posting that Twitter about Swagbucks because I have seriously gotten so into it! It’s like a game, and I love that they give free stuff for searching just like you would on Google. It’s fantastic!

Yes everybody loves free stuff…unless that’s what you do for a living :) I always end up with extra swag at home and usually end up donating most of it to a charity. Name your fave swag :)

Thanks for info on Swagbucks. And one more thing – great blog, pictures and family.
