National Day of Remembrance for Pregnancy and Infant Loss

by jessicaturner on October 15, 2008

Today is National Day of Remembrance for Pregnancy and Infant Loss. In honor of Audrey Caroline, our dear friends (and Elias’s godparents) the Smiths, and all who have lost babies because of miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS, or any other infant death, please pause to pray and reflect today.

Angie has posted a beautiful post about this special remembrance day. Please check it out.

Peace to you and your loved ones today.

Thanks for posting this rememberance Jessica. I lost my baby at 11 weeks in utero and it is so wonderful to have a day to just stop, pray and remember our little one who is in heaven with Jesus! Will keep other women in prayer as well!

I kept hitting “refresh” last night and read to 632 and prayed for them before finally leaving it for a bit. Such strength and courage and grief and survival. My heart couldn’t have been filled with more admiration.
