Pregnancy Update

by jessicaturner on December 31, 2007

Whew! Well, we made it through December. After three back to back weekends of traveling, I am beyond exhausted. Our flight home to Milwaukee, WI involved A LOT of puking thanks to a little plane and my pregnant belly. Ick. I am at 10.5 weeks and have been experiencing A LOT of “all day sickness”. While I don’t throw up every day, I have thrown up more than enough. I am nauseous all the time. Everyone keeps telling me that this is a good sign, but that doesn’t make me feel much better.

Our first appointment with my midwife is Wednesday morning. I am very excited. Matthew will be coming to the appointment too.

We definitely want to find out what we are having. In TN you find out at your 20 week appointment. Well, I can’t wait that long, so bought the Intelligender test, which is 90% accurate! It is an at home test that tells you if you are having a boy or girl at as early as 10 weeks. I am going to wait until 11 weeks. :)

Well, I need to get some laundry going… Happy New Year’s Eve!

Jessica,
I was your secret sis on sistv…..did you ever receive your package? My hubby sent it out a few weeks ago and I haven’t heard anything. Please let me know if it arrived! Thanks!

hmmm I’ve never heard of that little gadget…fun!

I’m sorry you feel yucky. I had all day sickness….that’s one of the most annoying things about the first tri…but then the second comes, and it’s great….and then by the third, you feel miserable again because you are so uncomfortable..

just keep thinking all kinds of good thoughts about that baby :)

ugh…the “morning” sickness stinks. clearly a man must have named that because you aren’t just sick in the morning…for me, it was a 24 hour thing…for such a long time. i hope it doesn’t last too long for you…it’s just miserable. i also puked on a plane flight because i was prego…so fun. i hope you start feeling better :)
blessings!
